Another successful sale at a charity art auction! This time benefiting the Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk, Maine.

Becky’s donated piece: Reunion in Twilight – 36″X24″ – oil on canvas

Thanks to the attendees, artists, and sponsors, the event raised more than $21,000 and the proceeds from each piece sold go directly to the society’s animals and programs.

Although Becky could not attend the event, she is happy that her work could contribute to the care and well-being of so many needy animals. She plans to continue her work with more animal charities so check back for upcoming auctions and events.

Becky Meehan is proud to be among the many artists who donated works to the Lilo’s Promise  Animal Rescue art auction! Created specifically for the event, her painting entitled We’ll Meet Again is dedicated to both her rescued Pit bulls. Her current best friend, Jahzara and her pit bull who has since passed, Odessa.
